Event-based Vedic Astrology readings.

These sessions are based on the teachings of renowned Eastern & Western astrologers. They are careful, holistic and intended as a vessel to connect deeply with nature’s guidance system. The placements of stars and planets at the moment of your first breath, reflect your life’s experiences, relationships and purpose from a time-based perspective. Each birth chart interpretation is unique — even those of twins born minutes apart.

The system of astrology, which most are familiar with, is known as tropical or Western astrology. It does not reflect where planets and stars are actually placed. This is why it is mainly used for psychological and personality-based understanding. The majority of astrology seen on the internet is based solely on the tropical system. Here, we are exploring what I hope will become known

This system is not accurate to the sky, but is likely familiar to you:

This system is accurate to the sky, so your signs may change:

Both systems work, so don’t worry if you’re attached to your Western chart.

Here’s an example of what I look at when reading a Vedic/Eastern chart:

Vedic vs. Western astrology?

The first thing you need to know is:

The type of astrology you’re likely familiar with is called Western or tropical astrology. It is not commonly known that the signs in your tropical birth chart do not reflect where the planets and stars literally appeared in the sky at the moment of your birth. The delineations of zodiac signs is decided through a system that tracks the movement of the Sun. Your sidereal chart on the other hand, is based on an accurate snapshot of what would have actually appeared had someone looked up at the sky at the moment of your first breath. The astronomically accurate method of chart reading has a lot to offer and is commonly known as Vedic or Eastern astrology. It has been kept alive in modern day India.

An example to illustrate what I mean:

Today, as I’m writing this, it is July 29th 2025. The Moon is in Virgo (the 6th sign). However, if you were to search “what sign was the Moon in on July 29, 2025 ” most search engines, social media platforms or astrology apps, will tell you the Moon was in Libra.

If you were to look up at the sky on July 29th 2025, you would see the following placement for the Moon. As you can see, the Moon clearly appears within the constellation Virgo. Not Libra.

This difference between planetary placements in tropical and sidereal charts, exists across the board for every planet and can be verified by you or anyone (using a stargazing app like ‘Night Sky’). When we approach astrology from the perspective of the astronomical placements of planets and stars, the practice becomes an extremely powerful timing-based tool and guidance system which reaches the soul-level.
