About me

Long story short: I’ve been based in Los Angeles since 2020, lived in New York City before then, was born in Boston, MA and spent the large part of my childhood in Vienna, Austria!

After a lifetime of your typical zodiac small talk, my real journey with astrology and tarot began in 2017, when I began researching the tropical system of astrology (which you’re likely familiar with). What I derived from tropical (Western) astrology was interesting and fun, but not incredibly substantial. I concluded that it was mostly a prompt for self reflection and psychological understanding.

After discovering Vedic astrology, everything changed (as it does for most everyone who discovers it).

The accuracy of its predictive timelines, in particular, led me to take a serious interest in learning its methods, which use a very different system for calculating and analyzing birth charts.

I decided to take astrology and divinatory guidance seriously as a profession because it is my truest and most ease-filled passion, let alone something I’m strangely well disposed for. It, naturally, turns out to be the most prominent part of my own birth chart. My tarot reading has naturally evolved into an intuitive, interpretation-based practice which offers insights on the fly as opposed to birth chart consultations, which require preparation.

Outside of my metaphysical passions, I am a musician and producer. My first five years in Los Angeles were largely spent writing, recording and producing music.

Qualifications

After making the decision to pursue a professional practice, I studied intensively under the coursework and guidance of James Braha. Braha is widely known as one of the first astrologers to bring Eastern teachings (Hindu/Vedic astrology) to the West in the 1980s. Many, including myself, consider his courses to be legacy. The methods he teaches are unique in that they synthesize Eastern and Western techniques.

In addition to solidifying my knowledge of advanced chart reading methods, I learned the correct way to read charts with discernment, skepticism, a carefully holistic mind and the right amount of intuition. I’ve since developed my own flow for natal chart reading which is careful and accuracy-focused.

I look forward to continuing to unravel the mysteries behind the intersections between science and spirituality through the lens of sidereal birth charts.

Intentions

First and foremost, my intention with astrology is to help ground and guide the individual by giving them clarifyinginformation about their life. Full Life Chart readings are 90 minutes long. My intentions are to help transform your perspective about astrology, to help you understand yourself and your relationships more clearly and to offer an alternative to oversimplified, surface-level and generalized astrology by presenting a form that’s less commonly known, but one that many find to be more profound, detailed and accurate.

Disclaimers

Benefiting from your chart’s guidance comes with the responsibility of relying on your own agency and power of choice. Despite any indications of your chart, you ultimately have free will. There are some areas of life where free will is easier to enact. Birth charts indicate aspects of life which seem to occur beyond one’s control (to varying extents).

Astrology appears to unfold in a manner which honors the enigmatic or mysterious components of life. While exploring the indications of your chart, it’s important to embrace uncertainty as well as your own free will. Astrology is an intricate and sometimes illusive tool.

Lastly, it’s important to say that you should not live and die by astrology or form generalized ideas about someone based on their sun, moon and rising signs.

Astrology is a complex and detailed pattern recognition science that requires holistic analysis and data collection. I recommend not making a judgment call regarding a particular situation or person based on one specific chart detail.
