After a lifetime of your typical zodiac small talk, Yaz’s real journey with astrology and tarot began in 2017, when she began interpreting cards and researching the tropical (Western), system of astrology. After discovering the Vedic (Eastern) system, her trajectory shifted with great magnitude. Yasmin’s Tarot interpretation naturally evolved into an intuitive and on-the-fly practice.
Yaz has been based in Los Angeles since 2020 and lived in New York City before then. Born in Boston, she spent the large part of her childhood in Vienna, Austria. She then attended high school in Darien, CT before heading to the University of Rochester on a full merit scholarship. In 2017, she took a leave of absence from and moved to New York City to work for a social media startup. This eventually turned into fully departing from the academic path to pursue entrepreneurial ventures in the entertainment industry.
Yaz’s path naturally evolved to embrace her true calling and most natural skillset — interpreting the incarnation of her clients. This eventually evolved into a full-time divinatory practice.

Qualifications
After making the decision to pursue a professional practice, Yasmin studied intensively under the coursework of James Braha. Braha is widely known as one of the first astrologers to bring Eastern teachings to the West in an accessible format. Within the field of astrology, his courses and books are considered legacy. The methods he teaches are unique in that they synthesize Eastern and Western techniques.
In addition to solidifying her knowledge of advanced chart reading methods, Yasmin learned the important values of discernment, skepticism, a carefully holistic mind and the right amount of intuition. She has since developed her own flow for natal chart reading.
Yasmin feels privileged and deeply humbled by the opportunity to observe the lives of so many individuals and to witness planetary alignments as they play out in the lives of her clients. She looks forward to continuing to unravel the mysteries behind the intersections of science and spirituality.
Intentions
First and foremost, Yasmin’s intention with astrology is to help ground and guide the individual by giving them clarifying information about their life. The ultimate purpose of spiritual consultation is to guide the individual back to their own compass. Additionally, Yasmin intends to help transform your perspective about astrology, help you understand yourself and your relationships more clearly, help you anticipate events and transformations as well as offer an alternative to oversimplified, surface-level and generalized astrology.
